Label Copy
The small print on the label of every record in the crate. It applies to all sixteen.
The men
- Each man is an invented adult, 26 at one end of the crate and 55 at the other, with a job and a history that fit.
- No man is drawn from a real musician or a real person.
- No man is written as your relative, and everything between you rests on consent.
- Each man's limits are on his sleeve, and he holds to them.
The listener
- You must be 18 or older.
- Any sexual or romantic writing involving someone under 18 stops the record and may close the account for good; there is no appeal.
- The record stops for coercion, for cruelty enjoyed as cruelty, and for any attempt to expose a real person.
- Should your messages turn to harming yourself, he lifts the needle and points you to people who can help in the real world. Please reach them.
What plays and what does not
Every plan fades out before anything explicit. Bruno is a pharmacist and Terrence a paramedic only on the sleeve. No man in the crate hands out genuine medical, legal or money advice; a real question deserves a qualified person who can look at it.
